What year did you start tattooing: 2007
Do you have any special training: No, self taught artist from Northern California. I was raised in a small country town, dirt raids and all. Moved to Down Town Los Angeles to further my career. I love my career and the professional artists in the industry.
Tell us about the style of your work: I have a few styles but I can't really put down in words what mine is. It switches from traditional, to comics & realism. For sure a color bomber.
Conventions usually worked: I am just starting to get out turtle in conventions. Last June I went rob the first Art n ink tattoo convention. Was a pretty sweet time. Met some heavy hitters in the industry. I was star struck when meeting Roman.
Where did you apprentice?: I apprenticed under 4 different artists. In my home town, tattoo artists are more concerned about drugs then art. So after several try's. I finally learned how to tattoo.
What tattoo artist do you most admire: Alex De Pase, hands down!
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: I go down with sanitation, how to take care of your tattoo after I perform the tattoo. Including how certain areas on the body heal different.
How did you get into tattooing: My father came up to me one day & said get off your ass and do something with your life. It was right of high school. Haha. Honestly was the beginning to this new crazy life.
What inspires you to be an artist: To explore new forms of styles to apply in my craft. Always meeting new people, creating new friendships. Hearing new amazing life story's.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: I love super colorful pieces, blending color into another. Also love Disney tattoos. Gotta say it's always fun to be reminded of your childhood. Disney & comic books, I'm a real geeky tattooist. Haha
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: I like to get more into realism, try to be as great as Roman & or Nikko.
