What year did you start tattooing: 2000
Tell us about the style of your work: I am currently focusing all of my artistic energy on traditional Japanese style tattooing. I also have a strong background in americana designs.
Where did you apprentice?: I apprenticed under Shane Knight in Pismo Beach, California.
What inspires you to be an artist: The fact that my clients trust me enough to explore my artistic interests to convey their ideas is the most inspiring. There is a lot of freedom in that.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: Classic Japanese imagery that i enjoy most are dragons, tigers, koi, flowers, heroes, women, spirits and demons along with wind, water, fire and earth. These themes are generally related the balance of nature, love, death, and mankind's struggle for enlightenment.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: I have a goal in my head of a certain number of bodysuits that i would like to complete in my lifetime.
