Artists: Donald Morrison
What year did you start tattooing: 2000
Do you have any special training: I've received training by watching many other artists tattoo as well as local art and painting classes. I also did a full apprenticeship.
Tell us about the style of your work: I don't consider myself to have a specific style. I just do good tattoos. I like to be well rounded and able to tackle any style.
Conventions usually worked: I have only ever worked at Electric City
Where did you apprentice?: I apprentice with Mark White of Northstar tattoos.
What tattoo artist do you most admire: Nikko Hurtado, Rodney Eckenberger, Jimi Litwalk
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: Understand that it's a commitment and they are permanent. Even in 2017, some tattoos will prevent you from getting certain jobs, so be sure of what you're getting, make sure you're going to the right artist and checking out portfolios.
How did you get into tattooing: My cousin is a tattoo artist and I had many friends that tattooed as well. I have always had a passion for art and really enjoy talking to people.
What inspires you to be an artist: Other artists work, the more I see others do the more I want to bring myself to that level.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: The bigger and bolder the better! I like anything that gives me a challenge and allows me to put my own personal touch to it.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: I've wanted to do a pennywise from the new It movie since Nikko did one.
