Artists: Emily Rose
What year did you start tattooing: 2011
Tell us about the style of your work: My work is primarily illustrative. Lots of layers of shading as well as line definition. I enjoy dark subject matter but mostly it depends on the style I'm currently experimenting with. Lately I have been bouncing from one genre to another. I love them all, it's so hard to decide!
Where did you apprentice?: Controlled Abrasions in NJ
What tattoo artist do you most admire: Megan Massacre
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: Breathe! It's all in your head!
How did you get into tattooing: I had an opportunity at a very young age to start a full time apprenticeship, fresh out of school and I couldn't turn it down.
What inspires you to be an artist: Colors, textures, animals, nature. Honestly there's nothing that hasn't inspired me at one point or another
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: My own custom designs.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: I am DYING to start a body suit. A full blown, committed body suit.
