What year did you start tattooing: 2008-01-01
Do you have any special training: Ive studied fine arts since the age of 8 starting with the Louisville Visual Arts Association, then going on to duPont Manual High where I studied fine arts with a major in Visual Arts. After Highschool I went on to U of Lwhere I continued my fine arts study but majored in painting.
Where did you apprentice?: I apprenticed at Body Art Emporium in Louisville Ky, under Travis King
What tattoo artist do you most admire: I admire every artist who raises his skill pushes the bar! however Robert Hernandez is who I admire most
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: to sit down and have a consultation with me so we can explore the various ways to ideally tackle this project in order to best visually convey their idea
How did you get into tattooing: transition from art school into the real world.. I was teaching Travis King private Kung Fu lessons and with my background in fine arts in mind, he gave me a shot at an apprenticeship.
What inspires you to be an artist: The thing that inspires me most as an artist is the ability to invoke a physical emotional response from the viewer.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: The kind of tattoos that I look most forward to doing are: portraits, asian influinced art, and wings.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: yes Im dying to do a jesus and his angles vs satan and the legions of hell with st michael leading the army
