Do you have any special training: 1 year apprenticeship after going to school for art.
Tell us about the style of your work: I love to do all styles of tattooing from neotraditional to realism but the most fun tattoos to do are watercolor.
Where did you apprentice?: Envision Ink in Madison, TN
What tattoo artist do you most admire: A tie between Nikko Hurtado and Cecil Porter
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: If you're willing to go through the pain of putting something permanent on your body you should love it. And if you're looking for the cheapest price know that you're going to get what you pay for.
How did you get into tattooing: I did the whole going to college and working a full time job thing and I knew that just wasn't for me and I fell in love with tattoos and the lifestyle that came with them from an early age. I've always been an artist and I drew and painted my ass off to get an apprenticeship.
What inspires you to be an artist: I'm always coming across new styles of tattooing that challenge and inspire me to push my limits as an artist to become the very best, like no one ever was.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: I look forward to doing all kinds of tattoos because I know that there's always room for improvement. Most of all though, I would really want to start doing dot work tattoos as I think that would be really fun and challenging.
