What year did you start tattooing: I was introduced to Tattooing in 1992, but became Pro 2006
Do you have any special training: I studied Fine Art in college.
Tell us about the style of your work: I strive for realism in all my work. Portrait, Pin-ups, surreal and horror
Where did you apprentice?: my first was in california in '92'. it was more of a basics on rigging needles on a bar, lines.... beginer stuff. I dabbled on an off just for fun untill 2005. Smoky Joe pulled me aside and put a machine in my hands and fine tuned my skills.
What tattoo artist do you most admire: Smoky Joe saved me from a life of drugs and crime. Also he is one of the best portrait artist out there. Next is my Hero Bob Tyrell. I went to one of his workshops at NIX 2007. After that the light came on and my art took off.
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: Research!!!! Know your artist, their skills, limitations and be sure they are BBP certified.
How did you get into tattooing: it seemed like a fun new medium.
What inspires you to be an artist: I am my own worst critic. I am always trying to do better. So i guess my Last piece inspires me to do better.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: The next and the next ..............................................
