What year did you start tattooing: 2012
Do you have any special training: Yes I started an apprenticeship very young in texas, I was about to turn 14 and if you don't believe me ask Tye Harris he was right there with me until I tuned 18. Later moved to San Francisco after traveling and tattooing in Toronto, Barcelona, New Orleans, and Brooklyn. I decided to open a shop called The Syndicate downtown SF. I soon got the traveling bug again but ended up settling in Santa Cruz with a private studio called Seabright Ink.
Tell us about the style of your work: Im a very new school/absract influenced artist, but I like to but an organic feel to things.
Conventions usually worked: Ive worked conventions under my mentors but have yet to work a convention alone.
Where did you apprentice?: Texas. I spent close to a good 5 years working in tattoo shop never actually tattooing constantly until I was about 18.
What tattoo artist do you most admire: Tye harris and Jorge A Wookie best teachers I ever had. Of course I admire every tattoo artist Ive ever gotten tattooed by or worked for. Ive had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Tye Harris Jorge A Wookie Timmy B Jeremiah Barba Adrain Dominic Christian Perez Jo Harrison Derek Noble and Jeremy Miller
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: consider the tattoo placement.. consider all options on design. eat and drink healthy. stay clean.
How did you get into tattooing: When I was 13 I went to a tattoo shop in San Antonio TX to get a piercing and walked out with a job.
What inspires you to be an artist: Natures natural shape, other artist. Traveling and experiencing
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: I want to get into crazy surreal realism, with a traditional twist
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: yes! I drew up this chest piece for this crazy Dj Chick she wanted a cadillac symbol with two wolves hollowing facing each shoulder blade with an owl above the cadillac symbol. The way she described her innovation was way more horrifying believe it or not but some how I actually drew something I liked. Now I just gotta wait for her to grow the balls to get it.
