Artists: Osa Wahn
What year did you start tattooing: 1992-01-01
Do you have any special training: I learned to tattoo from my father Waldemar Wahn, now I'm teaching other talented people how to do it.
Conventions usually worked: First convention: Berlin 1993, since then too many to fit it in here. Usually: Frankfurt/Main, Krakow, Vianden/Luxembourg, Warsaw, Vienna...
Where did you apprentice?: In my father's tattoo atelier.
What tattoo artist do you most admire: My father, Waldemar Wahn, who taught me everything, before I started to create my own style.
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: Don't paint anything smaller than the canvas, otherwise the composition will never look aesthetically. Don't come with ready stencils or idee fixe, bring me just a keyword as a theme and enough skin to create something unique.
How did you get into tattooing: I ran a family business with my father since I can remember.
What inspires you to be an artist: Nature. I travel into the deepest wilderness to get my inspirations.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: Very colourful, my own style only, no stencils, no customer's wishes. I tattoo only gourmets of tattooing art, so I can't even call them customers. They give me their skin to get some typical Osa-style.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: The International Space Station
