Artists: Patrycja Peppe Haluszczak
What year did you start tattooing: 2012
Do you have any special training: First year I was tattoing on my own learning from internet and getting tattooed to see how it's really done. After that I got a job for summer tattooing at the seaside of poland where all my mistakes learned by myself were take back. I was running home studio after that and since 2 years official Tattoo Shop in Braunschweig Germany.
Tell us about the style of your work: I love doing realistic and abstract mixed together but also on their own.
Conventions usually worked: I was doing only 3 Conventions by now, heading to 3 others this year. Last year Best of Small and second place Best of Color on convention in my City.
Where did you apprentice?: Tattoo 777, Swinoujscie, Poland
What tattoo artist do you most admire: Karol Rybakowski, Tofi Torfinski, Timur Lysenko, Sandra Daukshta, Alex Pancho, Teresa Sharpe, Ivana, Murran Billi, Dave Paulo, Arlo DiCristina and many many more!
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: Don't do something just because it's now in fashion and check your tattoo artist portfolio: 1) if its not faked 2) if it fits the style you want to get
How did you get into tattooing: Throught my enviroment. I was in music highschool and active in rock/hardcore/alternative scene. Back in the days everyone wanted to be more hardcore than the other one. I could draw good and my friend next door was also a home tattooer. It didn't took much time and I could tattoo on real human skin. In poland everybody is always short on money so if your friend offer you tattoos for free to practice the answear was always: ''hell yess!!!''
What inspires you to be an artist: I love taking motives from history from ancient greece or even further till now and many time I get inspired by occult themes, witchcraft and meanings of flowers, animals, starsigns, universe. I get inspired sometimes by lyrics of songs or the books I'm reading, through conversations and I love it when we're digging together with my clients into their (sub)conscious to find the perfect spot and do a one-of-a-kind tattoo for them.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: I'm having everyday many ideas and inspiration overload while scrolling through instagram or facebook so an answear to this question would be everyday different.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: I would love to do full body concept but it's hard to find somebody ''clean'' and willing to sacrifice ;)
