Artists: Rachael Elizabeth
What year did you start tattooing: 2014
Do you have any special training: No
Tell us about the style of your work: I love doing anything colorful. I pride myself in doing bright colors that hold up well over time. I have a lot of people coming to me for watercolor/sketchy tattoos and consider that to be my specialty.
What tattoo artist do you most admire: Russel van Shaick
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: Not to over think it. Get a tattoo because you want it- whether it's because it's something meaningful or representive, or just because you like the artwork.
How did you get into tattooing: When I was 13 I started telling my friends I wanted to be a tattoo artist and started obsessing over it. I always loved drawing and being creative as a kid. After trying other jobs and being miserable I finally made it my real goal to make my dream come true.
What inspires you to be an artist: All forms of art, my drive to get better every single time I pick up my tattoo machine, and my clients.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: Watercolor.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: Not that I can think of off hand.
