Tell us about the style of your work: sloppy with a pinch of realism.
Conventions usually worked: none
Where did you apprentice?: I never got one. I wanted to but couldn't afford one so I hit the books, google, youtube and watched a lot of training dvds ... just worked really hard to be as good as I could be..I really wish I could've got one. It would've saved me a shitload of time .
What tattoo artist do you most admire: (laughs) There are way to many to list. Having said that I cant stand the cocky one's I admire their talent ,but I read somewhere a tattoo artist said " We color for a living. Nothing to be a cocky prick about" and that stuck with me. I strive to let myself become that guy.
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: "don't rush it cuz you gotta rock it" Forever!
How did you get into tattooing: I was born with a tattoo machine in my hand ! (Laughs) No seriously I've always had a passion for art. All art really but specifically Drawing, painting and Tattooing. Truth be told its the only thing i can truly focus on. In my late teens I would take markers in class and draw tattoos up and down my arms by the end of science class i'd have full color sleeves on both arms. When I was 17 I started doing "pick and Poke" tattoos for friends of mine. Then a few yrs later I figured if I'm gonna do this then I need to do it right! So i did.
What inspires you to be an artist: My God , my family, The world. The universe. Everything.
