What tattoo artist do you most admire: I have a lot of respect for a lot of people. Everyone from old artists like Bob hicks to younger artists like bobby Johnson. I definitely love Dave tevenal style, durb, all the guys Killin it in ohio way too many to name.
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: Always always always check portfolios. Also, ask questions. And make sure when you go to the shop you have some sort of idea what you're looking for.
How did you get into tattooing: I've always loved art, my mom always acrylic painted as I was growing up. I was always fascinated not only by tattoos themselves but looked up to the people who did them. Just captivated me at a young age and kinda had me hooked. I knew I was gonna do whatever it took to be one of those guys.
What inspires you to be an artist: Just seeing the progression of not only my own work but tattooing as a whole, nature, movies video games, culture in general. There is so much shit going on in the world it's hard to not be inspired by something. But definitely just trying to push myself to be the best that I can be, for myself.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: I like doing roses or black and grey realism, something about trying to make a tattoo look like it's real has always been pretty awesome to me. But honestly as long as it's a fun design I can look forward to pretty much any style. I like to be skill tested.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: As long as it isn't an infinity sign, I probably want to tattoo it.
