What year did you start tattooing: 2011-01-01
Where did you apprentice?: I did not apprentice, I was hired to work at Outcast ink after working in my home for a year gathering technique.
What tattoo artist do you most admire: Mike Devries, Rachelle Gammon of Newcombes Ink. Rachelle is the artist who got me started in the business, she showed me the basics, and from there I kept learning.
Before someone gets a tattoo what advice do you give them?: I advise them to relax, and to be calm, Do not take medication before your appointment, and please do not drink alcohol or intake of any substances before you receive work. Make sure you have checked over your request, and you are sure what you want, because it is there forever.
How did you get into tattooing: Rachelle Gammon of Newcombes Ink got me into it, and suggested it would be great for me, since I am an artist of many mediums and this is just another addition to what I can do with my art.
What inspires you to be an artist: I have been an artist my entire life, what inspired me in the beginning was japanese animated cartoons and comic books, and I would make my own comics, but eventually tattooing became my calling and I enjoy being able to provide permanent art.
What kind of tattoos do you look forward to doing: I really enjoy doing black and grey work, Anime pin up girls and black work, I would like to do more Pin up girls more often, as drawing female characters is easy for me.
Is there a tattoo that you haven't done yet that you are dying to do: I am always interested in doing new work, I am not limited to any one style.
