Today Converse Inc. announced the launch of their footwear collaboration with world famous Gorillaz. Set to launch February 2012 the collection combines the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star look with the band’s legendary graphic images to produce four unique looks.
Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett has designed exclusive prints for the project. All shoes from the collection will have a Gorillaz heel tab and hangtag with additional details on the shoe.
The only shoe image that has been released is of the military inspired camouflage print taken from the cover of their self-titled debut album and has a suggested retail price of $60.
The partnership with Gorillaz will also include a Converse “Three Artist. One Song” music collaboration that will coincide with the launch of the collection.
