The FBI plans to create a new tattoo database to add to its collection of biometric data. The famous government organization has begun gathering information from academia, private industry, and law enforcement agencies. This information would become part of the Biometric Center for Excellence (BCOE), which uses databases related to identifiers such as fingerprints and DNA to identify individuals who might be associated with gang or terrorist activities. Translation: If you're a bad guy with some fancy tats, the FBI is on your tail.
