Forever: The New Tattoo, a new book Nick Schonberger, highlights some of the most talented and creative tattooers of this generation. Schonberger collaborated with Dr. Matt Lodder, an art historian and professor, who wrote the introduction. The book, published by Gestalten, includes 16 interviews with various artists from around the world. 

"I have really fun conversations with everyone, mostly pretty light, about their working practices and passions," explains Schonberger in an interview with James Thorne of coolhunter.com. "They sort of tiptoe around both tattooing and personality and I think that's the fun of the book."

Forever: The New Tattoo features the work of New York-based artists Amanda Wachob and Thomas Hooper, as well as U.K. artists Duncan X and Alex Binnie, among others.
