On Friday, May 18th, Queens metalheads Emmure took the stage with Alesana as part of Inked Presents: Saints and Sinners in Silver Springs, Maryland. The death metal headliners destroyed the stage with their usual mix of dissonance, vocal breakdowns, and a load of Marvel comic references. Silver Springs hosted a variety of other bands, including Woe Is Me, Texas in July, Like Moths to Flames, and Ultrageist for a hardcore orgy of screaming and heavy bass and drumming for a loud, high–energy show that kept the young crowd dancing the whole night.
