Beach volleyball star Misty May-Treanor has more than just amazing skills in the sand. She's also got a couple of thoughtful tattoos too.
The gold medalist has a lower back tattoo of her grandmother's initials that are in between the Roman numeral for the number five. Five is the number she played while in college. These symbols are surrounded by flowers and a dragonfly.
She also has an angel on her left shoulder with her late mother's initials and other photos show her with another tattoo on her right wrist.
May-Treanor is currently in London competing for gold with volleyball teammate Kerri Walsh-Jennings.
