iPhone and iPod-compatible, this techie boombox is a lighter, prettier, more advanced version of the bass-blasting behemoths we toted around in the 80s. Available in charcoal grey, aquamarine, or bright pink (like, splendidly, blindingly bright pink), the iP4 inspired this reviewer to sit it down curbside and breakdance to some Grandmaster Flash (it inspired me - that doesn't mean I actually did it...). The boombox features high-end bass processing, 5 band EQ, 4" carbon composite woofers, and 1" ferro fluid-cooled tweeters, aka sublime sound. Complete with an FM radio and auxiliary line-in jack that connects to your device of choice, the iP4 also has two power sources: 6 D batteries or an included AC adapter. Overall, this revamped sound machine is definitely worth adding to your audio collection.
