Slipknot Singer Got Tattoos To Cover Bandmate-Inflicted Burns

WRITER Maya Phillips

Everyone has their own reason for getting inked. For Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, it's to cover up the scarred evidence of his bandmates' pranks. Taylor says he's sporting some nasty scarring after his bandmates' Sid Wilson and Chris Fehn's attempts to set him on fire during their concerts. "They were lighting my legs on fire every night. They would always start with the bottom of my f**kin' overalls... I'd feel them gathering around me and squirting me down with lighter fluid and then, whoosh!" Taylor told Revolver magazine. Now he's got the ink to cover his scars, and hopefully...still a sense of humor.
