I love the feeling of new ink. Granted, it's usually a sore feeling, but it's still oddly satisfying. …And then comes the itching and the peeling, and I'm running to CVS for the soap and ointment so my new ink doesn't turn into a permanent mistake.
A Beautiful Life must know my pain, because the company has created Fresh Ink, a moisturizer for that tattoo that's supposed to enhance its color and life. Fresh Ink contains natural botanical humectants and antioxidants which help the skin resist dryness and retain water while also approving the appearance of the ink. Priced at $18 for a 4 oz bottle, it's pretty expensive, but if the product actually does what it claims, it might be worth the extra dough.
