A 13-year-old cancer survivor in Centralia, Washington decided to get a dragon tattooed on his chest to symbolize his winning battle against leukemia. As proud as he might be over his new tattoo, his mother feels otherwise.

The woman, who asked to not be identified, has turned the case over to the local police. Tattooing a minor is a misdemeanor in Washington and while the teen won't say where he got the tattoo done, the authorities know the name of the artist who did it.

The twist is that this is the boy's second tattoo and the first one he got was with his mother. The pair got heart-shaped tattoos one year ago. Since they lived in Texas at the time, the boy was able to get the tattoo with his mother's consent because it was legal. Police are also investigating how the boy was able to get tattooed in Washington without his mother's approval.
