Tipping Your Tattoo Artist

Tipping etiquette is always a big question when talking about any industry. Just like when you tip your hair dresser, nail tech, or waiter, 20% is great. If your artist is doing custom work for you and including the design in the cost of the piece always take that time into consideration as well. It's always nice to make sure they're fairly compensated for all the time it take to create that amazing one-of-a-kind piece just for you. When getting a large piece across multiple sessions, it's not unusual to tip after each session or after the entire piece is completed. How do you tip your tattoo artist and how much?
