Perhaps best known for his work documenting the hardcore and metal music scene in London, photographer Craig Burton contributed a photo essay on the Third International London Tattoo Convention for this issue of Inked. He lives a Straight Edge, drug-free, vegetarian lifestyle, which he believes to be the main strength and foundation for his work. Burton has been tattooed in more than five different countries and collected tattoos from some of today’s top artists, including Javi Castano, Thomas Hooper,
Ian Flower, French Thomas, Bert Krak, and Chad Koeplinger. His work has appeared in magazines such as Elle (Belgium and Holland), Alternative (U.K.), and Big Cheese (U.K.).
