Aliya Naumoff

Aliya Naumoff began shooting black-and-white portraits of neighborhood kids while living in the South of Spain during a high school exchange program. She studied photography at The University of The Arts, in Philadelphia, and after graduation she was quickly hired by David LaChapelle as a lighting and camera assistant. Naumoff has exhibited her personal art work in New York City and Berlin, and her photography was published in Overkill, a 2002 book by Boothe-Clibborn Editions. Naumoff’s work has been featured
in many magazines, including Index, Interview, Spin, Rolling Stone, I-D, Nylon, Dazed & Confused, and Wired.
