Artist Duane Bryers created the character of Hilda — the ginger-headed, plus size pinup seen in this gallery — as a reaction against the stereotypical thin pinup models of the 1950′s. Hilda became immediately popular and was a fixture on calendars from the Fifties all the way through the mid-Eighties. We’ve collected some of Bryers’ best work in creating this gallery, enjoy.
