Inked Girls: Aleksandra Rodriquez
Myself in a sentence: Fiercely loyal and in love with my family!
Occupation: Army wife
The design and themes of my tattoos: Traditional is what I'm into. Simply because its beautiful and timeless. The theme has turned out to be the illustration in the book that is my life, still being written.
More specifics about my tattoo: The wolf on my shoulder I'm fond of! I was always a tomboy and only until I found my true love did I softened. But then I had even more reason to fiercely protect what is mine. And my family is the only thing I have that matters. So it's only suiting to have a anatomical heart on the inside of my arm that reads 'family'. Now we have a second child, our daughter Lilly. For we I have a butterfly that is beautiful and girl just like our baby girl. I have on my hips roses and daggers with a banner that says 'no one stands between me and my man' that I had also got while my husband was In Iraq along with a compass on my thigh that says 'every where he goes my heart follows' and my husbands initials AMR.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My sons name on my wrist. My husband deployed immediately after our son Mio was born. So his name in a heart on a anchor represents how he is and always will be my heart and soul and the anchor that holds me down.
My next tattoo: I made the mistake of going to a different artist with the money I scrounged up by pawning my iPod and a few other belongings of mine. It turned out less than perfect but I don't have the heart to cover it. I had roses and braces knuckles done with my boyfriend now husbands name. It represented what was important to him was important to me. He had roses and brace knuckles done one his chest that says 'love me' which was done for his grandpa who he looked up to.
