Myself in a sentence: I am a walking contradiction.
Occupation: Box Office
Hometown: Birmingham, AL
The design and themes of my tattoos: For the most part, my tattoos are very traditional with a sense of realism. As of right now, the colors are mostly in the black and grey, blue, and red range.
More specifics about my tattoo: Each of my tattoos has a story behind it. Even if it doesn't have a beautiful bit of symbolism related to it, each of my tattoos means something to me because of the stories associated with them-- whether it be the hilarious conversations in the tattoo shop with my tattoo artist or the thought process behind getting the tattoo.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo is one that I share with my two best friends, Jess and Alex. The tattoo is a portrait of our spirit animals, a lemur, a lynx, and a wolf in grayscale with pink Japanese flowers underneath on my thigh. This tattoo was a pretty spontaneous decision. My best friend Alex had just gotten back from his first deployment in Iraq, and the three of us became closer than ever. Alex ended up paying for Jess and I to get our tattoos as a Christmas present, and the rest is history.
My next tattoo: My next tattoo? There are so many that I want. It's hard to decide. I think I'm pretty set on getting portraits of my two cats, Layla and Clapton, in an ornate frame on my thigh though, and I fully intend to add a little flair to their portraits, hats, necklaces, etc, to show their crazy personalities.
