Inked Girls: Catherine Kleinke
Myself in a sentence: I am shy, wild and out, ballsy as hell, loving, weird, crazy, blunt, wear my heart on my sleeve type of girl, and not afraid of anything. I love taking risks, and I hate judging. Everyone is unique in their own way, accept it or don't. But do not be negative. Be loving and if you can't understand then let it go. Life is an adventure, I love exploring, learning and finding the pieces to life's lil puzzle. I am life's contradiction.
The design and themes of my tattoos: The design of my tattoos are all completely different from each other. Ive had multiple artist work on me and will continue to. Not one artist is alike in their styles. Most of the designs have meaning behind them some obvious some not so obvious. My thigh piece was one a dear friend drew up and one day I was over and he showed it to me saying he thought of me. it was perfect! And of course I immediately preceded to get it inked on me. My guns well I may sound a lil bit of an overemotional dork but I was in a dark place and insecure and I felt like the guns were my tough girl protection tat. I do love realism and traditional and of course all kinds of other styles. My themes do not really tie together in my opinion, I just see something I like, hear an idea, or think of something that would be amazing and I get it. I don't care of it ties together it is my own body to decorate and as long as I am happy that is all that matters.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo is my locket rib piece. An old lover of mine helped map it out and took time with it. I remember when he started tattooing it on me, he took his time and I could feel the carefulness of how gentle he was. The tattoo is my favorite because everytime I think of it I remember the romance and passion that was behind it.
My next tattoo: My next tattoo is actually coming up real soon. Its a huge cover up chest piece. I was in one of my favorite tattoo shops and he was finishing up my wrist and I was talking about a cover up I wanted on my chest but I didn't know it would work out. And he said yeah that would workout if your okay with it coming down practically to your nipple area. Which I didn't like that because I think it would look weird. So he said I should get a huge traditional style owl and we are incorporating an antique clock in the grasp of its talons between the cleavage of course signifying a special date to me in it. We already laid out the print on me and I am super excited to get started!
