Inked Girls: Cheyanne
Myself in a sentence: I love to turn heads and make jaws drop, whether it’s with an outfit, my hair, my tattoos, my piercings, my smart-ass mouth, or my ability to be the most outgoing person in the room.
Occupation: Executive Assistant
Hometown: Fontana, CA
The design and themes of my tattoos: No specific theme really, I like the aspect of good on one side and evil or bad on the other. I have a “good” cupcake on one forearm and an “evil” cupcake on the other, I have a pinup angel on one thigh and a devil on the other, the spider (evil) is across from a Bug’s Life character (Disney movie) named “Francis” (good) honoring my married name, lock on one forearm and key on the other, etc.
More specifics about my tattoo: My regular artist is Brian Deroo at Claremont Tattoo in Rancho Cucamonga. He didn't do all of them, but the majority of them, and he will do all future ones if I have my way about it.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My spider tattoo on my left ankle. I used to be a “cutter” and self-mutilate myself. It is an addiction just like any other, and I overcame it. I placed the spider tattoo in my favorite area to “cut” to remind myself that I am better and stronger than the desire to do harm. The venom is shown spreading through the skin to signify addiction.
My next tattoo: I am getting “Always Forgive” on my right outer forearm from my elbow to my wrist, and “Never Forget” on the left one. People who forgive AND forget tend to make the same mistakes over again; I don’t. Always forgiving but never forgetting means that you can forgive and move on with your life, but remember what you learned from the experience.
