Inked Girls: christina gutierrez
Myself in a sentence: The girl your mother warned you about.
Occupation: medical biller
Hometown: pomona california
The design and themes of my tattoos: All of my tattoos are sentimental and filled with experience of lessons and morals learned. Prison flow type various color predominately black and gray. Dark shades of mysteriousness yet enough highlighting to show clarity and wisdom
More specifics about my tattoo: Very inspirational, remind me of how far ive come and how much further i strive to go
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo is more than likely the one located on my wrist which says a quote " refuse to sink" with an old school navy anchor next to it. There was a moment in my life during a period of time which was very dark for me, where i was at my lowest of lows and truly reached my rock bottom. I reached the ultimate depression, and swore to myself i would never let myself sink that far ever again.
My next tattoo: Im currently working on a Johnny quintana piece, im very intrigued by the darkness behind his day of the dead material. It speaks to me and my experiences as well as emotional struggles and triumphs in a different way than others may portray his work. So for the moment anything day of the dead, skeletons in the closet, deep sorrow ridden type pieces.
