My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo is my octopus lady on my left arm. I saw the image on the artist's (Jason Cantoro) website and knew immediately that I needed it on my body forever. I'm a surfer and have/want a lot of ocean themed tattoos and this image combined my love for the ocean and pin-up. I also have always loved octopi and found them to be so mysterious but fierce when they need to be (they have a razor sharp beak under their tentacles) so to have that on a woman was really empowering.
My next tattoo: My next tattoo will most likely be three jellyfish on my left forearm to represent my mother, my sister, and I.
