Inked Girls: Godiva Doll
Myself in a sentence: Pretty like a knife fight, and leaving a colourful corpse...
Hometown: Saskatoon, SK
The design and themes of my tattoos: This is a hard question to answer! I have everything from a portrait of my family, graffiti and script, multiple zombies and nurses, musical instruments, a RollerGirl, angels and chakras, a DNA double helix, Ebola, a witch, and even one kanji symbol. My tattoos represent things that are important in life, my accomplishments, my passions, and they are the one thing nobody can ever take away from me.
More specifics about my tattoo: I love colour! I like artists whose style is just a little bit different and recognizable.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: The Ebola Virus on my left shoulder (now part of a sleeve representing all things relating to infectious diseases). I watched the movie "Outbreak" as a kid and was hooked on deadly viruses and bacteria. I have 2 health science related university degrees and hope to someday be on the front lines fighting the next Pandemic, or working with Doctors Without Borders.
My next tattoo: A Cheshire Cat on my left hand. I love Alice in Wonderland and can relate my crazy life to this story a lot of the time.
