Inked Girls: Hanna Dillman
Myself in a sentence: I'm a quiet, introverted bookworm with a dare to be different, wild child side.
Hometown: Patterson, NY
The design and themes of my tattoos: I don't have a specific design or theme to my tattoos. I see myself as a collection of different styles and I want my tattoos to reflect that too. I see myself as a classic beauty with an edgy side. I don't think that there is anyone out there like me. I like to mix rougher, scarier elements with pretty and girlie things. I am also a very natural, outdoors person so I find a great connection with animals and flowers. I've been adding what I like as I like it, and eventually I will have a collage that is exactly me.
More specifics about my tattoo: I hope one day someone can look at my collection of tattoos and understand me. A little crazy, a little too smart, overly opinionated, creative, original, and still beautiful.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo is the owl on my right thigh. I originally wanted all of the elements in it to be three separate tattoos, an owl, a clock, and a dream catcher. However, now that I have them all together I cant imagine it any other way. The dream catcher is inspired from one of my favorite artists, Salvador Dali and the clock is set to my birthday. I chose an owl because they represent wisdom and we can all use some of that. More importantly, I chose an owl because I thought It reflected the intelligent, quirky, and kind of strange person that I am.
My next tattoo: My next tattoo is going to be a compass to represent my love for wandering, travel, and exploring. I want it to be antique looking and surrounded by roses. I want to put this one on my right ankle/maybe down onto my foot. I think It will be the perfect end to all the work on my lower leg.
