Inked Girls: Helen M. Powell
Myself in a sentence: I am a very unique, fun, easy going individual.
The design and themes of my tattoos: All of my tattoos are to represent a stage in my life and something I went through or enjoyed at that stage of my life.
More specifics about my tattoo: My tattoos are mostly things that represent family member who have passed. Such as I have a lot of dragonflies to represent my brother who has past. During his funeral a dragonfly landed on his casket so ever since then I have had a thing for dragonflies. I have a lot of breast cancer as well due to my aunt who past away from that. Also stars are really big with me because I love my own meaning behind them: You can wish on them, They always get you to look up, and they always guide you home.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite is my chest piece. My aunt passed away from breast cancer and the day she passed tore me apart. So in her honor I got a puzzle piece the shape of a heart because she is the missing piece of my heart, with Aunt Gina and a breast cancer ribbon inside. Wings and a halo are attached to the heart because she was such a kind, loving person I know she is an angel watching over our family. Along with two stars on my throat because on day we will meet again and stars mean a lot to me because they get people to look up at their beauty, make wishes on, and they always guide you home.
My next tattoo: For my next tattoo I am working on getting an arm sleeve. I am very much into Egypt and everything that goes into it. I want blowing sand and pyramids. I have so many different ideas on that piece that I am waiting until I have perfected what I actually want.
