Inked Girls: Kady Strange
Myself in a sentence: I am a fitness obsessed, adventurous, determined person who greatly enjoys challenging myself and taking chances. I am always trying to put myself outside of my comfort zone because I believe that is when growth occurs. I have a degree in nutrition and I am currently preparing to take my personal trainer exam. In my spare time I love to lift weights, cook, and skate with my roller derby team!
Occupation: Model/Trainer
Hometown: Nashville, TN
The design and themes of my tattoos: My two largest tattoos are basically traditional style. As I mentioned, my panther and roses are a classic design. The panther is of course black and the roses are red and yellow. My half sleeve, which is still incomplete, has everything from cupcakes to candy to roses. I simply brought in some artwork I really enjoyed and had my artist base her design off of that sweet Gothic style. Right now it has purple, pink, teal and green incorporated. I also have a little gray mushroom on my right wrist that I got as a romantic gesture. It didn't work out, so I plan on having is covered with a lovely purple rose. I have a line of lyrics on my right shoulder blade that says "In your eyes I lost my place". I got this one when I was 19 spontaneously. For me it is just a reminder of being young
More specifics about my tattoo: I can't wait to get more beautiful work done! My tattoos make me feel like a superhero, as cheesy as it may sound.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: I love my traditional panther and roses. When I was 19 I went to a tattoo shop and told my artist to come up with anything he wanted to put on me. He chose perfectly. Whenever I look down at it I am reminded how far I have come since then. It makes me feel like one tough cookie.
My next tattoo: I have an endless passion for my weight training and fitness. I also love pin up girls, I will combine the two and have a custom piece made of a lovely little pin up girl doing a bicep curl with her dumbbells. I plan on getting this on the front part of my right leg. I hope to have this one done within the next few months!
