Myself in a sentence: Someone who will bring people coming back, someone who shines, and most importantly you'll never find another Katy." I'm witty, daring, spunky, adventurous, tough, talkative, confident, open-minded, and most of all uniquely unique.
Occupation: Financial Planner
Hometown: Mansfield, Arkansas
The design and themes of my tattoos: I really don't go in with a certain design, but theme wise.. I go for Greek mythology, astrology, and colorful (like my mind)
More specifics about my tattoo: There is so much symbolism on my back with Aphrodite. The waves, because she was born and washed ashore in a large shell. Her looking in the mirror, the way she used her vanity to her advantage. The roses and swan, also, both symbolism. I am going to add a half sleeve to the crescent moon that deals with my being a Virgo. I am Virgo with a Libra Rising I take it very seriously. I am also adding on to the right lower side of my back tattoo extending down my thigh/butt (I have a great butt)
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: Of course my back piece. When I was 17 I moved to Baltimore, but not just Baltimore. Pennsylvania and North Avenue, you know, where the riots happened? Used to go to that CVS too! I already had three tattoos on my back at the time when I turned 18. My boyfriend I moved there for was abusive, was washing my clothes in a bathtub because we didn't have enough for the Laundromat. After about 2 years of hell with him, I finally went through the whole restraining order bit and all. I felt empowered, I felt like I wanted a new tattoo to represent who I am as a woman. Aphrodite came back to my mind, and yes I am a huge Greek mythology person). I am strong like her, I had grown into my own self. I went to Read Street Tattoo shop and told him what I wanted, gave him a few pictures, and what you see on my back is literally what he had planned the first sketch. J is amazeballs. I made sure Aphrodite had bigger boobs than me, since I don't want to ever get fake boobs I figured this was the best way. I'm 22 now, and am in a totally different place in life. When I look at my back tattoo, I see the road of the hardest four years I'd ever had. I'm strong, like Aphrodite.
My next tattoo: I love Alanis Morissette. Even more so her lyrics really helped me through a lot of bad things. My favorite song of hers is "You Learn". From one hip bone to the other the lyrics of the chorus is there. You live you learn, you love you learn, you cry you learn, you lose you learn. Underneath the lyrics on both hipbones I had Blue Jays put there.. http://www.whats-your-sign.com/blue-jay-animal-symbolism.html if you go there you'll see the symbolism behind a blue jay.
