Myself in a sentence: I am a 22 year old who is in love.
The design and themes of my tattoos: The design and themes so far seem to be about myself, my philosophy, love (which is a huge thing to me), all while being placed in the right spots and looking tasteful and maybe elegant in a way.
More specifics about my tattoo: The one I do have is portioned correctly to my ribs on my right side, with elegant Old English font/text that is solid black with a pop of color in the Initial (L) that is stained glass. I made sure she did more of a 3D look than a flat, 2D look with one color. My tattooist is amazing with color so I trusted her and she did exactly what I wanted. She asked what my favorite color was, and what two opposite colors I liked. I said Forest Green is my favorite color and that I love orange and blue together. So we did Forest Green, orange, gold, and turquoise. She blended them all throughout it so it gave that 3D look with amazing shading, and made it look like the sun could go through it. The quote is only 9 words so we went a little bigger so we could have more detail and color. The quote represents love to me and that connects with the love of my life, my future husband.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite and ONLY tattoo is my quote on my side. I have an Old English style font with an initial (like in old fairy tale stories and Bibles) which is the L and within that initial it is filled with stained glass. It is my favorite because I originally wanted a different quote but had my boyfriend/fiance write the one that is actually on me so it has more meaning. I will definitely go MORE into detail in the next box.
My next tattoo: I want one more, maybe two more at the most. I use to want about 5 or 6 tattoos all together, but after having this one done and the pain I physically went through I feel like I only want 1 or 2 more. I never wanted to be extremely heavily tattooed to begin with. I feel that tattoos should have meanings behind them and to me the one or two more I want have meaning. The next one I want is a Native American piece. I am part Choctaw and I take a lot of pride of that. I am currently trying to find someone to help me, an elder or a Shaman someone who takes an active role in the community. I do that because I want to find my Spirit Guide, I want to know more about my tribe and my people who come from there and my family. Once I find my Spirit Guide or it finds me, I want to have it tattooed on my back somewhere. The left side or in the middle upper area. I am deciding wither or not to just have it tattooed alone or have it tattooed with something that connects to the Choctaw.
