Myself in a sentence: Mom and wife who enjoys life! My tattoos represent different pieces of my life. I live in an artistic town full of tattoos and self-expression. I wear these tattoos proudly and smile every time someone compliments them.
Occupation: Executive Admin
Hometown: Austin, Texas
The design and themes of my tattoos: Each tattoo is different. I prefer old school tattoo styles. Colorful and bold. Even the birds which were meant to be solid black, I ended up doing in turquoise with black shading. My stars are colorful and were my first real inspiration for colorful tattoos. I plan to build around the stars and anchor into a full sleeve over time.
More specifics about my tattoo: My tattoos are definitely a representation of me. Bold and colorful! I love piecing together the different images and working on my sleeve.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: The anchor on my arm I just recently got. It is colorful and bold. It embodies the old sailor Jerry Tattoos. The meaning behind anchors are also neat. I got mine to represent stability. My life is at a wonderful point, 36 has been a great year for me. I am coming into my own. I wear it proudly. I get many compliments from all walks of life. It is nice to have a way to express myself that makes others smile too. Everytime I look down at my arm, I smile. It reminds me that I am the best me, and I will always remember the point in my life when I got this tattoo. Magical 36!
My next tattoo: My most recent tattoo is of birds on my shoulder. Those I think represent different stages of my life. I feel like I have taken many journeys and will continue to throughout life.
My rib tattoo
On a trip to Las Vegas for a bachelor/bachelorette I was lucky enough to get tattooed at the famous Starlight Tattoo in the Mandalay Bay. I chose to put my husband's initials on my rib cage. SUPER PAINFUL, even though it was just 3 letters. I realized that after this tattoo, it will be there forever because it is way too painful to ever remove or tattoo over!
