Inked Girls: Madame La Lune
Myself in a sentence: I am a restless soul with a lot on my mind and little time in the day.
Occupation: Hair Stylist
Hometown: Tucson, Arizona
The design and themes of my tattoos: I never intended to have a theme but, my tattoo artist refers to them as witchy. I love horror and Halloween and anything creepy or mysterious. I guess that's the route my tattoos have taken. Some of them have meaning and others are just for the art.
More specifics about my tattoo: I have one terrible terrible terrible tattoo that i even tried to get on "Tattoo Nightmares" for. It was my 3rd tattoo and it was done in a legit shop but, i didnt know until later that that artist was plastered while tattooing me. It was supposed to be a black and gray mermaid laying on the ocean floor but, she looked like she had downs and it was just terrible. Later i started piercing at that same studio and they attempted to add color etc. to take away from how bad it was. Then my artist passed away and i didn't want anyone else to finish what he started. I went in years later for a cover-up and the whole thing just mudded together. I have since had 6 treatments of laser removal with no success. Now I'm stuck with the junk on my back.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo was the start to my sleeve (which is still in progress). My daughter drew it for me when she was 6 years old. She knew i loved zombies and she loved princesses so, she created a depiction of she and I as Zombie princesses. I placed in on my inner arm, close to my heart.
My next tattoo: Oh God. My next tattoos were "homie hook-ups". My brother told me that his friend had a tattoo gun and that he did a good job. I went to his south side apartment and after he got stoned, he tattooed me on his couch. They are Latin sayings on my lower stomach and he did an okay job aside from using different fonts on each and spelling one of the words wrong!
