Inked Girls: Rebecca Dawn
Myself in a sentence: I am always myself. Always. I refuse to fit in and I will never grown up!
Occupation: independent contractor/mua
Hometown: Houston Tx
The design and themes of my tattoos: I am very much a girly girl so it shows in my art. A lot of bright colors and cute themes. I also like rather large designs. Go big or go home.
More specifics about my tattoo: Just because a person may look at me and not truly understand my tattoos or reason behind getting a certain piece does not mean they don't have meaning. Each and every piece is a part of who I am. No matter how silly or simple the piece may seem. They are def a part of my personality in some way.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My mother collected Claddaghs when I was growing up. So when she passed away it was a no brainer on what to have tattooed on myself to show respect for her. I gave the artist my interpretation of the symbol so that we could change elements about it to match my mother and my relationship. Also on the design I didn't want a date or in memory. My mother's name was Joy. So I got Joyless. Because without her I am without Joy. It is on my left forearm.
My next tattoo: My brain is so full of ideas at the moment. Once I finish my left arm I will probably start my Batman themed calve sleeve.
