Inked Girls: Bridget Fox
Myself in a sentence: I never was like all the other girls.
The design and themes of my tattoos: My tattoos are all pertaining to things found in nature, my Irish heritage, and being a volunteer firefighter.
More specifics about my tattoo: I have blossoming dogwood branches up the front of my right ribs and 4 swallows flying up the back of my left ribs. My tramp stamp is clovers and vines with the words "Erin Go Bragh" written above it. (Ireland Forever.) I have a fox on the front of my left hip, the Selkies take up most of the top outside of my left arm. On my upper right arm close to my shoulder is a Maltese cross with the Irish Tri-Colors inside it as a background for a clover. There are bands of flames on either side. Above is written Comhraiceoir and below is written Doiteain. Pronounced Co-reh-core doe-chen, it is Gaelic meaning "fire combatant."
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: Selkies In A Maelstrom. It is large and covers most of my upper outter left arm. I am a pisces and the normal symbol for that is a pair of fishing circling each other. I'm Irish and didn't want to use fish, so I used a pair of Selkies in their seal form circling around each other. They are in the center of a maelstrom, because I live in a strong current but can't allow myself to get washed away with it.
My next tattoo: There are 3 and a partial tattoos in the plans. I'm planning a sugar skull on my right bicep, pandas on my left inner forearm and an owl in my right inner forearm. The partial is that I want to add a Roman stone arch to the top of the Selkies tattoo, coming up onto my shoulder.
