The design and themes of my tattoos: I usually do black and grey with accents of high intensity color. All my pieces have an element of fantasy, mythology, and scifi. For example I have tattoos of a griffin the mythological creature, sugar skulls, zombie sugar skull, a piece about the afterlife Celtic mythology, dream catcher as an entity, and my sign in astrology.
More specifics about my tattoo: I have gone to several artist and in the last few years only one artist has been able to handle all my work. He is a good friend who is so insanely talented. We are a great team so when we correspond amazing pieces of art are created. I would suggest other people do the same, find an artist you can build a trusting relationship who will treat you right.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo is my portrait of a mythological creature called a dream catcher. It has elements of surrealism and fantasy art, it was done mostly in black and grey with on the lips being red. It is the sexiest and most beautiful tattoo I have. It is around 8 x 10 inches in size and is located on my upper thigh. The story behind it is that the piece was inspired from the Native American mythology about dream catchers. The artist created this piece to show a dream catcher as an entity instead of the object we hang above our bed. I was inspired to get this piece because of my love for all things mythological, fantasy, or scifi. I also have very strong ties to my Native American heritage. Oh yeah and my final reason is because it is just bad ass period!
My next tattoo: It's way too good to tell so your going to have to just pay attention. Aha.
