Inked Girls: Seanna Miriah
Myself in a sentence: Hi! Well, I am a gal who used to do a lot of pinup modeling until I began Beauty Blogging and making Youtube videos that are mostly beauty related and that has pretty much consumed my time. I am a makeup artist, an introverted home body and tattoo collector. I was in Rebel Ink's "Rebel Pink" magazine edition a few years back, with a two page spread right after Kat Von D and was also a pinup contestant in Ink and Iron. I also still have a billboard in Paris where I am the face of American Dreams Paris, a restaurant/bar I have yet to visit but have heard all about from friends who live in Europe! Just an FYI the pics I've included are a mix of old and new.
Occupation: Makeup Artist
The design and themes of my tattoos: Mostly Japanese or traditional American
More specifics about my tattoo: I am covered in flowers, more specifically roses. Nearly every single piece I have on me has a flower incorporated in it. I am a walking garden, ha.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: I have so many I like on myself for different reasons. Lucille Ball is my hero and I have always felt a strong connection to her character, so I have her tattooed on my leg by Mr. Curt Baer of Iron Mountain Tattoo in Redding, CA. He was guest spotting at Dark Age on Capitol Hill here in Seattle when I got it but he grew up with my fella so he's like fam. I also have a perfume bottle on my hand. It is such a simple piece that defines my love for the beauty industry and my profession so it is for sure a top favorite. That was done by Matt Lentz who has done both of the tattoos on my hands at different times, one when he was still at Under the Needle Seattle and the second when he moved to Dark Age.
My next tattoo: My neck is next. I am going to get chrysanthemum flowers in tribute to my dog "Booger". He is a shih-tzu and his breed of dog is called the "chrysanthemum dog". I have had him since he was a pup as big as my hand, he is now 11 years old and has been with me through some serious shit. Including moving across the country from Asheville, NC to Seattle. He has also flown more places then most dogs as my companion animal to help me with "flight anxiety" where I am basically a freak of nature in the sky. I don't know what I'd do without that furry stinker.
