Inked Girls: Spaci Tattoos
Myself in a sentence: I am beautiful darkness
Hometown: Las Vegas
The design and themes of my tattoos: The designs and themes of my tattoos very. I have tributes to my husband and my children both alive and in heaven. I also have a tribute to Edgar Allan Poe and Tim Burton on my upper right thigh. My upper left thigh is a Mermaid scene because I'm obsessed with not only the ocean and pirates but mermaids as well. My right sleeve is a phoenix that represents the new person I became and a very rough patch in my life. My left arm is a variety of American traditional. I have small tattoos here in there relating to Disney because I'm a child at heart and a sucker for a love story. I also have quotes throughout because I'm also a sucker for poetry.
More specifics about my tattoo: My tattoos are not just tattoos, they represent who I am on the inside and my trials tribulations and miracles in life. I love that with my ink I'm allowed to portray that all over my body.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo is on my left leg. It starts from my toes and goes up to my knee . This piece starts off with the Peter Pan quote "to live will be an awfully big adventure" with the silhouettes of Peter Pan and the Gang. Following this, a polka trash wrap around my ankle going into a Dark Castle with bats flying out from underneath the bridge and all the way up my leg. Intertwined with the bats is the phrase Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat and above the castle is the phrase once upon a time. This is my favorite tattoo because it is the story of my husband and I. I always called him Peter Pan while we were dating because he didn't want to grow up and our entire life together has been one big adventure. Our wedding theme was dark and twisty, like vampires and engagement photo was inside of a coffin stating till death do us part. He proposed to me on the bat bridge in Austin Texas. Right after millions of bats flew out from underneath the bridge he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The castle is due to our "Pillow Talk" always consisting of a huge dark castle will build one day. The Once Upon a Time stands for the Twisted version of our love story. The Peter Pan phrase starting the theme on my foot is the beginning of our relationship of never wanting to grow up.... that way now laugh about. The Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat is from the Mad Hatter and in our child's nursery. My husband and I lost children and so this miracle baby has the Mad Hatter Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat picture on his wall to remind us that the night on the bat bridge created this wonderful little man....and of corse it's from the Mad Hatter because who doesn't love Johnny Depp and Tim Burton.
My next tattoo: I have several tattoos planned but I I want my next one to be my back piece. I have an entire pirate scene planned out that will cover my back. I am a Pirate At Heart and feel the biggest real estate on my body should display that. Arrrrgh
