Inked Girls: Tara Romano
Myself in a sentence: I'm someone who is determined to make life a positive experience for others just as much as for myself.
Occupation: Finance Manager
Hometown: Boiling Springs
The design and themes of my tattoos: I originally wanted all of my tattoos to be black & gray. And my plan was to have an overall spiritual type of a theme. It has since drifted from that. Now, if I find an artist I like. I get a tattoo from them.
More specifics about my tattoo: I have two quotes. The one on my ribs and one on my foot in original font that says "Take me the way I am". I have the leo symbol behind my ear. I have a color piece on my right shoulder blade depicting a male and a female. Beautiful neo-traditional piece by Anthony Zamora from Best Ink. No couple in particular, just two people who share a story. I have a half sleeve that is about 3/4 of the way done. Should be finishing it soon. In it is an angel, an all seeing eye, butterflies, an hour glass and a magic eight ball. It represents a lot of my current/past beliefs on the afterlife and such. Then of course my thigh piece. And the zombie ill be getting on my leg.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it: My favorite tattoo is an abstract piece on my thigh done by Jake Kirk from Rapture Tattoo Emporium. I went to him wanting to get tattooed at the Baltimore Tattoo Convention and he agreed as long as he go to do what he wanted. I looked through his original sketches and pointed out my favorite. He took this small organic type sketch and turned it into a beautiful black and gray botanical piece of art. We ended up entering it for Tattoo of the day and got 5th place.
My next tattoo: May 25th, already scheduled. I'm getting a Zombie Girl tattooed on my right leg by Todd Williams at Rapture Tattoo Emporium. I'm looking forward to it.
