What color is this dress—blue and black or gold and white? Everyone within 500 miles of civilization has been transfixed by this question for the last 24 hours. It’s impossible not to take a side on the matter and everyone seems prepared to dig their heels in and fight for their color combination.
So far the dress has only caused derision as people get on their internet soap boxes to scream back and forth at each other. We thought that it would be better to use the dress for a good cause—an eye test for your tattooist.
If you feel so strongly about the colors of the dress don’t you want the person who is about to tattoo you to see things the same way? If you are dead set on getting a black and blue tattoo how are you going to react when you walk out of the shop and your ink is gold and white? Those colors are only going to be there for the rest of your life, no big deal.
Before you even let your artist fire up the tattoo machine pull our a picture of the dress and make sure you are on the same page.
