After a lifetime of petting dogs and striking up conversations with their owners photographer Ty Foster noticed the bond that develops on both sides of the leash. Foster photographed tattooed people with their canine friends as a way to use the universally understood bond between dog and owner as a way to show that inked people are no different from non-tattooed folks. Dogs Ink will open on July 6th in a gallery attached to Guts’N Glory Ink in Rosendale, N.Y., and will run throughout the month of July.
