Cherry Blossoms

About this tattoo

After my husband passed away at the age of 34, I wanted to get a tattoo that would symbolize the shortness of life and also my strength to get through that time in my life. After searching for some time, I finally came across the cherry blossoms. In Japanese culture, they symbolize the transience of life. In Chinese culture, they symbolize feminine strength. Add in the fact that they are beautiful, and I knew that it was the perfect tattoo for me.
